Twitch chatbot and alerts with InstiBot

Connect Twitch

1. Log in with Twitch, or open Platforms in the dashboard and press Connect on the Twitch card. Only the channel owner can connect platforms.
2. Approve the permissions on Twitch. They cover reading and writing chat, follows, subs, Bits, moderation, stream title and channel points.
3. Check the Twitch card: it shows Live or Offline, who the bot posts as, and any problem Twitch reported.

What works on Twitch

• Chat commands, timers, counters and quotes, answered in Twitch chat.
• Moderation filters, plus delete, timeout, ban and unban from the mod console.
• Alerts for follows, subs and resubs, gifted subs, Bits and raids.
• Loyalty points, the points shop, mini-games, song requests, giveaways and polls.
• !title and !game update your Twitch stream title and category.
• Channel points rewards with InstiBot actions.

Channel points rewards

Under Points → Channel points you can create Twitch rewards from InstiBot or attach actions to rewards you already have: play a sound, show an image, text to speech, a chat message, a timeout, a command, a wheel spin or text-to-speech access. Twitch offers custom rewards to Affiliates and Partners.

Rewards InstiBot creates can be edited and their redemptions accepted automatically after the actions run. Rewards made on Twitch keep their settings there, but you can still choose what happens when they are redeemed.

Twitch next to Kick, YouTube and TikTok

Twitch runs side by side with your other platforms. Commands answer where they were typed, timers can post to Twitch, Kick and YouTube together, and each platform has its own switch to pause the bot there. Viewers keep separate balances per platform.

Kick-only features

Analytics, the !clip command and clip markers, the raid finder and a custom bot name are Kick features and aren’t available for Twitch.
