Manage your InstiBot command prefix, channel language and time zone, review platform connections, and understand owner-only account actions.
Review your channel settings
Settings contains the channel command prefix, language and time zone. If you change the prefix, update the examples you publish to viewers; documentation examples use the default exclamation mark.
The interface language and the channel’s configured settings serve different purposes. Check both when preparing a multilingual stream.
Recover a platform connection
Open Platforms and review the connection status. Reconnect when requested, using the intended account. Avoid disconnecting your only way to sign in. If events are missing, check the resync controls offered by Settings and read any errors returned.
Owner-only account actions
The owner can manage sensitive account operations such as session logout and channel deletion. Read confirmation dialogs carefully. Removing a channel is not the same action as pausing the bot; use the bot switch when you only need a temporary pause.
