Set up your stream with InstiBot

Connect your channel

1. Open the sign-in page and choose an available streaming platform. Review the permissions before connecting.
2. Open Platforms in your dashboard and connect any additional accounts you stream on. Use the same InstiBot account to keep the tools together.
3. On Kick, make the bot a moderator by entering /mod InstiBot in your channel chat. If you use a custom bot identity, grant that account the required permissions instead.

Create a first command

In Chat Bot → Commands, add a command named socials and enter your social links as the response. Enable it, save, and type !socials in your channel chat. Start with a cooldown so repeated requests do not flood chat.

Add a widget to OBS

1. Open Widgets and choose Chat or another widget.
2. Adjust the settings and copy the widget URL.
3. In OBS Studio, add a Browser source, paste the URL, and set the dimensions to match your layout. Keep the URL private.

Before your first stream

• Test an alert and confirm its image and audio appear in OBS.
• Check commands from a viewer account so permission and cooldown rules are exercised.
• Review the platform support guide: TikTok is read-only, and some tools are Kick-only.
• Check the current pricing page for limits before planning a large setup.
