Connect TikTok

1. Open Platforms in the dashboard and find the TikTok card.
2. Log in with TikTok or enter your TikTok username, depending on what the card offers.
3. Go LIVE on TikTok. InstiBot checks every minute and a half, so it can take up to about 90 seconds to connect after you start.

What works with TikTok

• Alerts for gifts (in the KICKs, Bits & gifts alert, counted as coins), follows and subscriptions.
• TikTok chat in the chat overlay and the TikTok viewer count in the viewer counter.
• Chat commands, points, mini-games, song requests and giveaway entries for TikTok viewers.
• Gift values in goals and the subathon timer.

TikTok is read-only

TikTok doesn’t let bots post in LIVE chat or moderate it. InstiBot reads your TikTok chat, and when a TikTok viewer uses a command the answer appears on your other connected platforms instead. If TikTok is your only platform, commands still count but replies have nowhere to go. Moderation filters can’t delete, time out or ban on TikTok.

Reliability

TikTok has no official API for chat bots, so InstiBot connects through a community connector. It can stop working without notice when TikTok changes its site. Check the TikTok card before an important stream: it shows Live or Offline and the last error if a connection failed.
